πᾶς ὁ ποιῶν τὴν ἁμαρτίαν καὶ τὴν ἀνομίαν ποιεῖ καὶ ἡ ἁμαρτία ἐστὶν ἡ ἀνομία  καὶ οἴδατε ὅτι ἐκεῖνος ἐφανερώθη ἵνα τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἄρῃ καὶ ἁμαρτία ἐν αὐτῷ οὐκ ἔστιν  πᾶς ὁ ἐν αὐτῷ μένων οὐχ ἁμαρτάνει πᾶς ὁ ἁμαρτάνων οὐχ ἑώρακεν αὐτὸν οὐδὲ ἔγνωκεν αὐτόν

But everyone who practices wrong-doing rejects the way God intended things to be.  God is crystal clear about it!  You know how people see Jesus: as able to lift the weight of personal garbage without having any of his own.  Anyone who remains in his teachings can’t mess up.  Now that he’s set the example, you only really mess up when you close your eyes and ignore him.
